Killer whales
This morning we saw 2 humpback whales off the wharf and yesterday we saw 5 killer whales (orcas). Very exciting!

SCIENCE IN ANTARCTICA
I'm a marine biologist working with the British Antarctic Survey at Rothera Research Station on the Antarctic Peninsula. This is the polar part of my research for my PhD with the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, UK.
