Before we got onto base we spent 10 days in the Falkland Islands and 10 days on the Royal Research Ship (RRS) James Clark Ross.

SCIENCE IN ANTARCTICA
I'm a marine biologist working with the British Antarctic Survey at Rothera Research Station on the Antarctic Peninsula. This is the polar part of my research for my PhD with the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, UK.
